The True Meaning Of Christmas

Jesus Christ was born this day
So many years before
He came a servant to the lost
Though he was Lord of Lords

We celebrate this joyous time
Reflecting on His birth
Not born in a mansion, but a stable
As if He had no worth

He came so He could identify
With the human heart of man
And gave His life as a sacrifice
Offering a better plan

A plan that reconciles us back
To our loving Father God
Bringing hope and redemption from
Sins ruling iron rod

For this is the only reason that we
Should celebrate this day
To become focused on anything else
Would take the meaning away

So let’s arise with joy in our hearts
And share it with everyone
The meaning of Christmas will always be
The birth of Jesus – God’s son

Breathing Your Way Back To Balance

If you don’t like what’s happening in your life, change your mind.

This brief quotation from the Dalai Lama reminds me that my experience of life changes as I do. As I change, I change the way I influence - and am influenced by - my surroundings.

Having Faith In God’s Word And His Healing Power

If we believe, you will receive. Whatever you ask for in prayer. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, Believe that you have received, and it will be YOURS. !!!!!

"WHAT EVER YOU DO IN LIFE LET GOD DIRECT YOUR PATH, FUTURE AND YOUR DESTINY."

The Word of God cannot work without Faith. You cannot understand without Faith. Speak the word of Healing and you will be healed. Faith is certain of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. God’s word is living and active. It penetrates to driving  our Body, Mind and Soul.

10 Inspirational Quotes That Can Improve Yourself

It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day's work. Well, yeah I'm guilty about that one as well, unless I'm caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka… half-naked! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.

Just don't ask how it happened, please.

How Do You Deal With Adversity

"We shall draw from the heart of suffering itself the means of inspiration and survival."
~ Winston Churchill

I remember reading some time ago about a study of longevity in humans. There has been a large body of scientific research into the reasons why some people are long-lived but of course while various diets, health regimes, and regional or ethnic differences are often linked to living long it is a very difficult cause and effect relationship to determine because there are so many other variables involved.

Do Not Trifle With Me

I like this so much that I had to share it with you.

I think this sums it up for most of us.

12 Mother's Day Quotes That Will Make You Cry

Mom. Mommy. Mama. Mother. Mum. Mammy. Madre. So many words to describe the role, but so few that can adequately explain the wonder of motherhood and just how much it means. It's such a unique, unfathomable experience, it can be difficult to capture in words.

But thankfully some have done so beautifully and poignantly. As Mother's Day approaches, they provide inspiration for us to express to our own mothers how we feel about them and reflection for our own roles as mothers. Here are 12 of my favorite quotes about motherhood that are sure make you at least a little weepy ... in no particular order:
